You have gorgeous Somali Cats! I was just surfing the web on Somali cats. I adopted a blue Somali several years ago who was retiring him as one of her studs. I have to say I fell in love with him immediately and the breed. Needless to say he is spoiled rotten and loves to sleep with my daughter. Anyway, I am looking to adopt another Somali in the next year or two. I love the black silver Somali coloring so I'm thinking that is the path I want to go. If you have any retiring, let me know!

I brought my first Somali kitten home on the weekend; a three m/o tawny female. I've loosely researched cats over the past few years and the 'short-listed' Somali always came up in any questionaire I completed (like Select-A-Pet). It was at Sydney Royal last Thursday that I finally met a real-live Somali in the Cat Pavilion; you're right... smitten is the right word! Two days later, I was picking "Portia" up from Debbie Thomas of Penrith, NSW. Portia is EVERYWHERE! I also have a six m/o castrated domesitc short-hair... he's got nothing on this one! Like, she is INSIDE the fridge or cupboard before I can even SEE in there!! And what's with the eye-lid licking fascination?! Only took the little minx four days to warm to the Shelties, and now she plays with my 2 y/o bitch. Love your artical on CatWorld site; that lead me here. And LOVE my Somali.

You have a terrific web site with beautiful photos of the Somalis in particular. Would the hot weather in QLD be a problem for them? Also, we have bad tick seasons and usually have short haired cats. Would the longer fur be a problem to check for ticks?

Hi, actually I am surfing the Web with the intention to find a suitable script for guest book. Have seen tons of them already. To tell you the truth, this one is not of the greatest, but still customizable, with anti-spam protection (which is way too important for me) and few fields to fill in (I know on my own that random visitors get confused with lots of fields).
