I claim to be the first person at least in Victoria, to have installed a DS21 engine into a Light 15. I purchased the motor from Paul Scodella Motors for 215 pounds, swapped the timing cover from the Light 15 engine, packed out the flywheel by 1/8" and used flexible exhaust to hook up to a straight through 2" copper exhaust. I maintained the original gearbox.
I did this conversion in 1964, and was closely followed by Arthur, of Triangle Motors in Prahran (I think) who transplanted motor AND gearbox. A friend in Upwey also did the conversion to a Big 15. I showed the car at the Citroen Car Club which used to be near Coventry St., South Melbourne, and raced a tuned Light 15 around the streets. I won the race easily. I sold the car in 1965 to two brothers who ran the Parkville Post office, they claimed they drove it to Sydney in 8 1/2 hours. The biggest problem was trying to keep the original gearbox together, as I continually destroyed 2nd gear. Many was the time that I'd drive home with my foot jammed on the gear lever to hold it in gear. Fond memories.
Regards
Dave

Hi, actually I am surfing the Web with the intention to find a suitable script for guest book. Have seen tons of them already. To tell you the truth, this one is not of the greatest, but still customizable, with anti-spam protection (which is way too important for me) and few fields to fill in (I know on my own that random visitors get confused with lots of fields). So long cheers!

Great job - you've given me the inspiration to carry on with the restoration of my Slough built light 15, 1955 model which is in bits and pieces.
