Ted, This was a great site. I went to Nurnberg as a 1st and 2nd grader in the early 70's. I came back as a Soph and Junior then had to go to the new HS in Vilseck for my Senior year. But have always considered myself an Eagle. Reading the history was great. thanks for the site. chris 84

I was assigned to the AG Dependent's section at Nurnberg Military Post from early '47 to June '48. Was a buck Sgt . Capt Patricia E Grant was my immediate boss. My room-mate and close friend, Dick Elliott, handled payroll for the post enlistedmen. Dick just died in '99.
