Hey. I actually don't even know why I write these lines... it is probably not only because I drank too much and get all sentimental, I suppose it's because I adore your music, yes. It sings me to sleep, it makes me laugh about a stupid rainy morning, 7.15 a.m. on the bus arriving at school. I've been to Newcastle not too long ago, had a chat with that cool guy downstairs at that virgin store, made friends at the Albatross youth hostel, went to Sunderland (if I recall that ugly town right at the coast where it takes you ages to finally get there) but God, I didn't know YOU are from Newcastle. I would have tried to bump into you... Hope I'll get your CDs somewhere. Now I re-read my entry at least 20 times still uncertain whether I should submit it or not but hey... Thank you.

Simply calling something a cake does not make it such. There is no innate cake-ness in the term "cake". Surely there is more to a cake than just a collection of four letters. What about the social etiquettes driven by cakes? My cake-based childhood memories? The cake Olympics? I mean Spit the dog wasn't an actual dog was he? No he was a rubbish puppet. Yet to call him Spit the Rubbish Puppet would have defeated his purpose. If it looks like a biscuit, eats like a biscuit, then it's a biscuit.
