I attended the Pow about 10 years ago,
and this will be the first time back
since then. From what my mom tells me,
her Grandmother, was one half Blackfoot.
So I guess that makes me a 16th
Blackfoot. I'm looking forward to seeing
the dancers, and take care.

This is my first pow wow and I am so excited to attend. My great grandmother, mom's family, was a full blooded cherokee woman living in Kentucky and my great grandfather, dad's family, was from the piscataway indian tribe. I can't wait to see if anyone there knows more about that particular tribe. They were located on the Potomac river in Virginia.

My wife and I have attended many of the Pow Wow
events. They are great to watch and parking is not a
problem. One really admirable thing about the Pow
Wow events is that the day after the participants
have all left the area is cleaner than before they
came. Everything and I do mean everything has
been cleaned. I know this for a fact - I live across
the street from the event. We are looking forward
to the next one.
