Hello, I recently purchased a AAAFF Bearclaw Sitka spruce top set from y'all, and I have got to say , "I've never seen such clear distinct figure offered by any other luthier supplier". And the price just about blew me away! I just completed inlaying the rosette with Paua abalone shell and turquoise chips. The contrast between the dark filler and the crisp white ofthe spruce is amazing! I will most certainly buy all my next tops from Alaska Specialty Woods. I just received my sitka tops today. Nice tap tone, good quality wood. I'm especially interested in the ''float log''bear claw. The high grade tops have very good tap tone. Thank you again, Regards, Yalcin

Brent, I eagerly received your latest shipment of orphan boards, right on time with your ETA. The sitka spruce and red cedar are of such high quality that a few pairings are so closely matched only a snob would object. I particularly like a chocolate brown cedar with mysterious diagonal ghost-like slash markings and a few spruce boards that shine (must be what is referred to as chrome). With each order you have given me personal service way beyond the value of the purchase. It is apparent that you carefully selected the wood to fulfill my expectations.
