Dear Trish:
Kenny introduced me to your new A.U. web page. We have some things in common besides Everyday Wealth. Suzanne Kincaid is my sponsor (my daughter) and I hear from Kenny that you and he sponsored Suzanne.
I, too, am affiliated with Nikken's state of the art magnetic infrared technology products. JillCross of Maui is my sponsor. Also I'm an artist though not as advanced as you because I only work at it occasionally but it and music were my first love along with dance. Music, Art and Dance have always been predominant in my life. I am drawn to other talented people like you because we share the same love of beauty.
I am also a floral designer. I also love Competition/Exhibition Ballroom dancing and once taught basics at Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire dance studios. I only did it part-time as I was a wife and mother working part-time as a secretary while the children were in school. I became divorced later and became a single parent without child support, so went into secretarial work full-time but still pursued my part-time career as a dance instructor and high-fashion model. I have also sung professionally. I am a Coloratura Soprano and sang everything from Opera to Jazz and Pop.
I was into high fashion modeling also before my divorce. I did some art work with an advertising agency but preferred fine art to commercial art. I never fully realized my dreams but I am glad to see that you are realizing yours.
I also love sewing and at one time sewed nearly everything we wore or used in the home. I taught myself to sew after my 4 children a year apart were born when the 4th one was about a year old. I had one more child that, so 5 in all. I learned that the families who dressed so nice on moderate incomes like us was because the women sewed, so I taught myself to sew. Later I advanced into decorative sewing, both with sergers and regular sewing machines and do a lot of embroidery. I have a wonderful computerized sewing machine, which is not new but was state of the art at the time I bought it in 1991. It is a New Home 8000 Memory Craft--Janome' bought out New Home. It cost $3,000.00 new. The top model of Janome' I think is about $4500.00. I also took classes in free-motion embroidery, cut-work lace, etc. I was interested in the embroidery/monogram part of the machine because I was spending too much getting garments I made for the children and grandchildren monogramed, and wanted to be able to do it myself to save money!
I love to design clothes as well. I love to visit the fashion district in New York City, window-shop the best shops on 5th Ave., visit the Art Museum, buy specialty laces and trims and discount materials.
I would love to meet you in person if the opportunity ever presents itself and visit your home/studio. You are a very attractive woman. So you are not only artistically talented but beautiful as well. Are you married and have a family? What age group are you? And how long have you been in business? I almost forgot: What is the brand name of your cosmetic line? I, too, am a make-up artist and former consultant. You probably know that Suzanne is as well; she is one of the best, and that she is a cosmetician and has owned her own beauty salons since age 19; also her own wellness beautique and learning centers. She is a true professional and an amazing person in her own right. I would say this even if she weren't my daughter. You can tell I am very proud of her.
The URL I gave you is for Excel Communications, Inc. powered by Vartec, both of Dallas, TX. I am an Independent Rep for Excel. My other website for Excel is: www.excelir.com/ork. If you go into the Global Success website, my Global I.D. # is 434 785 2118. I have a Market America website as well but have not been working it and will not renew when it expires. You get in to too many and can't do justice to any of them so will concentrate of Excel and Everyday Wealth.
I hope to hear from you soon and would like to hear even more about you. Congratulations on your Wearable Art business and your other accomplishments. Also congratulations on your new web site especially for doing it yourself! Let's keep in touch. (May I have a copy of what I have written you for my file?)
Sisters in common,
Your new friend in Alaska,
