Dear Bette. I contacted you several years ago expressing my delight in finding you again after man years. I had heard you sing in St. Louis in 1967 or 1968 where you made a profound impression on my 22 year old, fresh out of college, self. You very kindly sent me several CDs of your singing and a couple of books you had written. Our correspondence ended and I had been concerned about you. I'm so glad to find here today that you are still going strong in the Lord. May God's richest blessings continue to be yours. You have certainly been one of God's blessings to me.

Bette, Thanks so much for sending your Christmas letter to mom and dad. It means so much to them. Dad read it to mom and then he passed it on to me. It was so good to hear about the boys and their kids. I got on the internet and watched some videos on youtube of Ric and of Lauren(he'll always be Chip to me). That was great. you and your family came to our church in the 70's.Talbot Park Baptisit Church in Norfolk, Va. Eslie Phillips was our pastor your sons ministered to our you group thru there music which at that time was concidered pretty progressive for the times but look at it now.lol. I had a particular relationship with the boys because i had ran away from home when you were at our church and then when you were at Bayview Baptist the following week i met with the boys. It was wonderful finding you on the web now if i could find some of those old albums featuring the family i would be overwhelmed.God Bless You Ms. Betty
