I am so sad that you are gone, Carolyn! I have great memories of you at endurance rides and functions 15+ years ago; at your booth at the AERC convention, and partying and dancing with you at a distance riding clinic weekend that even had a DJ. The last time I saw you, was a year ago at an NATRC regional in Sacramento. Everytime I use the 4 red easyboots, wear my purple breeches, and use the hydromassager I bought from you, (at really great prices) I will be thinking of you. My beloved horse Felex, who died suddenly 4 months ago, wore those easyboots on his last 100 miler in August. He'd be happy to take you for a ride in heaven.

Dear Carolyn, You were always there to help us when we needed you. You helped us find our first trainer, our first riding clothes, our first everthing. I'm (Debra)sorry I never took you up on that offer to go trail riding. I always thought we would have time. I will miss our chats, your smiles and your guidance. I know you're riding the trails in heaven. We miss you dear friend.

We will miss Carolyn's smiling face and her boundless energy, enthusiasm and generosity. We always counted on seeing her at our annual endurance conventions (PNER);she was so sorely missed this year. We would do whatever we could to hold out and buy from her as she was so accommodating and genuine. She has also been a very generous supporter of our Pacific Northwest teams, most recently providing beautiful halters and leads, with Gold nameplates for the Pacific North Team at the Pan American Games last fall. I will cherish mine forever and think of Carolyn's spirit whenever I use it.

I last saw Carolyn on Monday, Febuary 2nd, at the KOP Tradeshow in Pennsylvania. She came by the Ariat booth and as usual lit the place up with her smile, her eyes and her great laugh! We joked around, talked business and gave each other a big hug followed by a 'travel safe' kiss on the cheek good-bye. Little did I know that Carolyn would be gone before I even made it back home. Carolyn Day was a very special woman and she will be dearly missed by all...

Carolyn, I can't believe you are gone. I will miss your bright smile and even brighter laughter. Horse shows will not be the same without you. Thank you for always being there for us riders growing up and those of us who were already grown up, you made such a huge impact on the horse world. You will be truly missed in my heart and many others. Rest in Peace.
