Nice pics and trip reports! I have been hiking back there for several years and it seems like I have barely scratched the surface. I have a bunch of pictures on my website as well (click on "2004 update" link for most recent trips). Enjoy the outdoors... Hiking season is right around the corner!

Great aerial shots! I had forgotten about how
beautiful of a day we had for that flight. You really
know all those peaks! Got this link from Steev.
Glad this trip worked out. These are the best pics I
have seen yet from my plane. Mark Barnett

We started hiking from a Miriah i belive its a road located below ram valley and headed up another road which has a blocked gate on it untill we met with the trail. The trail was pleasent with a few human traps the bears had laid down. The valley is pretty open and straitforward with Mt. Cumulus hovering over it. We went around and neither of us could remember the route that you are surpossed to take up the mountain so we went up to early and got caught up in the mountian rocks. We had to head down to the glacier area and found the trail up from there nice and easy. There was hardly and difficult hiking on the mountain and just a few seconds of scrambling. The top of the mountain allows incredible view of the biggest and baddest mountains in the Chugach range as well as Denali, Hunter and Foraker.
