I didn't learn of Marianne's passing until about a week after the funeral. She had been in the forefront of my mind for several days and I had been praying so hard for her, and for you, her family. When I learned of her death, I realized just why she had been on my mind so much. I truly feel blessed by knowing Marianne - she was such a delight! We worked together for several years and so many times thru her illness some of her words came back to me. She was able to accomplish many things she so longed for and for that I am happy. I wasn't able to keep up with all the e-mails advising of her progress, but I hope she knew she was in my heart and my prayers. I wish for her family that they find comfort in knowing she is at rest, at peace and without pain. My memories of Marianne are of her smiling and laughing, and I hope yours are, too. Thank you Marianne, for giving us wonderful memories, and for allowing each us to be a part of your short life. I will never forget you.

My sister, Lynn Trammell, worked
with Marianne several years ago, and
I had the opportunity to meet her.
What a lovely woman who radiated
the grace of God. My prayers have
been added to the countless others
for Marianne and the rest of the
family through this past year. Now,
there is one more person in heaven
who I am looking forward to seeing
one day. May God richly bless you in
the days ahead.

Marianne taught my twins at Whitewater for their 6th, 7th and part of their 8th grade year before she got sick. She was such a great teacher and a wonderful inspiration. I loved her when she was on Earth and I love her in Heaven. I hate that she had to endure so much pain, but am so glad that she is no longer going through that! She helped me so much with my twin son! When I think of an ideal teacher I think of Marianne. God bless each member of the family! Yolanda

I had the chance to know Marianne at Fayette Co. High, and to call her my friend. I found a great picture of Marianne on one of our spring break trips, I will have to get with Beverly and see if she can't post it in the slide show. Haven't seen alot of my friends from school, but this sure makes me wonder why I have spent 15 years not going to see those friends. My wife Angie and I hold her in our thoughts and prayers, as we do Lee and Sydney.
