Wow. What an amazing person Danny ssems to be. He was hansome, worldly, and spiritual. It is true that God takes the best on Earth first, your brother and all of our losses prove that. My sister was the better person, and she is sharing the sky with your beloved brother. Hugs to you, our siblings are together as much as we are on this journey.

Hi Dora,
I just went to look at Danny's web site, you must take so much comfort from the love he obviously had for you. It is a lovely memory of him and I can only wish that we had something like this for David. I liked the 'unknown' quote, 'This too will pass'.. Time does slowly help but it never never goes away.
Wishing you peace..

Dora,
Your brother's site is wonderful and I see why he was so special to you. I am so sorry for your loss. You have inspired me to do something similar for my sister Mary who passed from this earth June 1 2003 at 40 years old, my younger and only sister. God bless you in your sorrow.

Dora, I am speechless for words after viewing your tribute to Danny. You must miss him very much as he was a wonderful brother and so full of life. His words about you being his second mom were a great tribute to you, you must have been such a blessing to him. His line toward the end about "when you watch someone die a part of you goes with them" is exactly how I feel about watching my sister die. A part of me went with her, and I have a hole now in my soul. Maybe you feel the same way.
Thank you for sharing Danny with me.

You've done a wonderful job for your brother
Danny.
I lost my younger brother in a hit-and-run just two
months before Danny died. I created a website for
my brother too and I know how much the
guestbook means to me.
I hope that, like myself, it brings you some comfort
to know that you are sharing your brother with the
world...with people that would otherwise be
oblivious to his greatness and warmth of spirit.
You are also letting the world know that he is loved
and will not be forgotten.
I'm so sorry for your loss, but grateful that you
chose to share your love for Danny.

What a beautiful memorial to your brother!!! I know he is very proud. I have lost my brother and sister, so I understand your grief. I live in Cincinnati, but have been to Maine 12 times, and like your brother, loved the beauty and serenity. I know he was a special person, and so are you for doing this for him. Take care of yourself, and know you are being thought of. Your friend,
Goldie

I followed the to this site from your post to G&G Fans. I was immediately struck but the ironic and tragic similarities between your brother and Sergei Grinkov. You are paying a beautiful tribute to him and I'm sure he appreciates it - he says in his own words how much he loves you. Take heart and hold on - the pain does get easier to bear. Thank you for sharing Danny with us - it sounds like he was a wonderful man. You were lucky to know him and he was lucky to have someone love him as much as you obviously do.
