My Grand Father was a member of the9th reinforcements of the 18th battalion 5th infantary Brigade AIF WW1 he left Sydney on 20Jan 1916 I wonder if any one knows anything about them

In memory of Lance Corporal Reginald Douglas WYMARK 30th Australian Infantry Battalion. Wounded and missing, later declared KIA, Fromelles 20th July 1916. (brother Samuel Walter Wymark, son of Marie Adele Wilhemina Reitz/Wymark). Sadly missed but not forgotten.

Fantastic site! Both my grandfather's fought in WW1 and my father in WW2. Grandfathers were in the 8th battalion and 13th Light Horse. Father was in 2/11 field regiment as a gunner. How I wish I had asked them the questions I have today!
