I really enjoy this site. There's nothing like keeping history alive. My Grandfather went overseas with the 183rd Battalion CEF in 1916 as a machine gun sergeant. This unit was split up to reinforce the 100th,107th,108th, and the 144th overseas battalions.Thankyou for all your efforts on this site. And thankyou for educating me on Australian military history. Keep that flag flying.

I was alongside the Hobart and Brisbane August 67 Yankee Station. We unrepped both ship. AF59 USS Vega - stores ship. I found a film made on the Hobart of that unrep. I was in the rock band playing to the Hobart from the starboard boat deck. Hobart played Waltzing Matilda on approach (just about drowned our rendition of the Rolloing Stones). Hobart approached us at just about flank speed. Good times in Subic Bay and met up with the Hobart guys.
