I was with the 1/83rd US Artillery at Nui Dat in 1966-67 along with the Australian Task Force and 161 Battery of the Royal New Zealand Artillery.
We always appreciated the support we received from our Aussie friends up the road from our camp. We were the 8 inch and 175mm Battery.
I encourage you to visit my website for the 83rd Artillery which includes things supplied to me from some of our Australian Mates.

My late Grandfather, James Gazzard served with the Royal Horse Artillery (British Army) during WW1. At the end of that war he was in the middle east. He demobbed from the RHA in the middle east and joined the Australian Provost Corps - I think it was called at that time. I would like to be able to trace his service if at all possible. If anyone can give me a lead to a relevant source of information, i.e; website, book, library, association etc: I would be most grateful. Many thanks, Allan Burrow
