I like your site a lot and visit from time to time. But I hope you don't mind if I correct an error on your page about the Royal Australian Navy 1939-45.
On this page you make a frequently made error when you state:
'HMAS Voyager had the honour on 13 June 1940 of being the first Australian ship to sink an enemy submarine when she scored a kill with gunfire and depth charges'.
HMAS Voyager engaged a submarine that day with both gunfire and depth charges, but the submarine escaped.
Voyager was involved in the sinking of the Italian submarines Liuzzi and Uebi Scebeli on the 27th and 29th of June 1940. She did this in company with a number of other anti-submarine vessels. In both cases the crews of the Italian submarines were rescued.
Please don't take this as carping criticism. I admire your work, but feel that it is important to highlight errors if I come across them.
