Thank you for this insight into what it was like at the dreaded bridge over the river kwai- my uncle was a prisoner of war there and he was lucky enough to survive the hell of that place and return home after the war- we shall remember them!!!

Great site this, your section on Selerang Barracks brought back many memories.
I was stationed there with "A" Squadron, The Queens Own Hussars from 1968-1969 up until we handed the camp over to the incoming Aussies.
Had some good piss-ups with Aussies, some great lads.
