I'm seventeen years old, 5'6" (kind of overweight, but who says that can't be fixed?) I want to be a jockey sooo bad! I love horses and I have three of them, but I have never breezed a racehorse. I know a guy that is a TB trainer so I want to get a job from him...love the site! I've read every single interview! :D

in the back of my mind i've always wanted to be a jockey. i 17 slightly over weight, but i working on that!!! i'm about 5ft 4in so hope that mayb one just i can just ride in one race even if i hav to do sum serious weight control before hand. good luck to all the girls out there!! x x x

It is interesting that there are actually female jockeys! I am a horse-loving teenager that really would like to work with racehorses, especially being a jockey.( Thankfully, I am short!) The nearest racetrack to Kearney, Nebraska is in Grand Island. It is called Fonner Park. i saw pictures of female jockeys! Some time i would like to go there on a Sunday or Friday.If you have been to Fonner Park, that would be cool!
