Hi everyone I lived in flin flon all my life until 5 years after i was married.Three of my children were born there.I went back last year but only for a couple of days,so this year i'm going back for a week or so.I hope to see some of my old friends,and have a good feed of fish(even jack fish would taste great.

I am one of the early children of Flin Flon: I was carried in to town, at age 3mos., in a basket in May 1929. I spent my boyhood years living at 36 Church St. and had my early schooling at the nearby school just across the pipeline from that address,and also at Hapnot School(?) and Ross Lake School(?). I left in 1940 when my dad left to join the RCAF. My memories of those Flin Flon years are among the happiest of my life.

Wow - the site is beautiful. I lived in Ff for a few years - probably 10 all total. I knew many people there at one time but have lost track of all of them. Patty Kennedy. Hi Everyone, I'm just wondering if anyone in Flin Flon still remembers my family - Mom & Dad were Wesley & Doris and my brother Brian, sisters Arlene and Corinne. We lived on Norma Avenue and across from the school in Willowvale. We went to school at Birchview, then Willovale, we moved away in 1971. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers us! Does anyone remember the fellow who had the pet bear?? I think his cabin was on the way to Bakers Narrows - peoples eyes get really big when I tell them this one!
