Dear Sylvia,
Your web site is awesome.I love the way that the cursor spells out the words.I've tried many times to reply to the e-mail you sent me on Nov.1st.Everything keeps getting returned to me.I wrote a long letter today and it came back as well.I pondered on what else to do and thought to try this.I hope you receive it,and will not think that I have not responded to your e-mail.I would really like to get to know you a little better,as I had so little time to do so in Aspen, last year.
Wishing you peace and love,Cynthia

I just visited your Quest page with the midi for "Today." I met the composer of "Today" in 1958 (he's an artichoke farmer these days!) and as much as I followed Randy Sparks and the New Christy Minstrels, I don't recall John being a participant. It's all these years later that I find he was very much a part of this folk group.

So appreciate your poem that was in the US fan club newsletter and your wonderful website. It's amazing that someone in the UK 31 years ago took such a liking to John. Frankly, I never appreciated him enough and now he's gone. I've bought most of my Denver CDs in England. My first trip there was in 1974 and while I had purchased a couple of John's lps over the years, I really started listening! after he left us. He's someone I never thought we'd lose, especially tragically.

I love your poems they are wonderful. Thanks for sharing, your words are my words but my talent is not in writing. Thanks for the beautiful pictures and the memories. I too am a long time John Denver fan and I took my daughter to his last concert in 1997 she was 6 and fell asleep during the 2nd half of his show, we were able to bring him a rose which was a nice memory for her and she still sings his songs and anytime his music comes on at a store or on the radio she has to come and tell me. I also had the pleasure of meeting John's mother at the memorial concert after the show in 1999 what a sweet lady. Thanks for sharing

Awesome! Your life and the influence John Denver made in it reflects my own. I too went to Colorado just to see what his music so vividly painted. I too bought a gold aspen leaf many years ago. I took a picture of the Aspen road sign way back then
and longed to meet the man who forever sang to my soul.
Thanks for sharing such a tender gift.
