I was stationed there from November, 1964 thru July 1966. I worked at the receiver site for about 6 months and then work in the comm center in the microwave division. It's nice to see that there is a website for the place. I really enjoyed my time there.

My dad (he was an ET) was stationed there late 70s--we left Dec. 1979. Have some old yearbooks (including the wrap-around with the entire school on it). Remember it fondly if not as well as I would like. Sugar cane trains, Taps, hibiscus hedges, sandbags during the hurricanes (David & Frederick), going to Phosphoresence Bay (sp?), Ponce, San Juan, & El Yunque. Always been told we were one of the last families to move on base, though not the absolute last.

Served in 1970-1971 at the transmitter site as a electronic technician.Met a lot of great friends at this base.

My family was stationed at Fort Allen from 1977 then Roosevelt Roads til 1981. My husband, Dan, ETCM, was Command Master Chief, stationed at the Comm Ctr and telephone exchange. He passed away in January of 1998 from cancer. I currently live in Texas with daughter, Brenda. I have fond memories of Fort Allen. I was given this site by John Myers, retired supply chief. Enjoyed viewing all the old pictures.

I was stationed at Fort Allen from 1964 thru 1966. I am very happy to have finally found some contact with those wonderful times. As I read the guest book many names bring back wonderful memories. I married Gloria Troche while serving at the base and some of these guys were in my wedding. I really haven't heard from them since I left. We will celebrate 43 years this October so to any of you who wondered, it worked perfectly. Would like to hear from Russ Holbrook if anyone knows his where abouts. I will be logging on often to this site and thanks to all who helped put it together.

Stationed at FA 1968-1969 CYN3 tape relay and svc clk. Many good times at the EM club and playing softball. Best duty and chow I had. Many fond memories of PR. Would like to hear from John Kelly of Batimore, George Douse, Whitey and Whickham.
