Feel free to email me guys. I visited the receiver site year before last. It looks the same as when I left in 68. Also got on base at Fort Allen. Sad, really a mess.

I was stationed in Fort Allen from January 1972 to March 1975. I worked the Comm center day shift with Luis Gutierrez, the civilian employee, the last two years of my tour. Does anyone know what happened to him or where I can get in touch with him?

Great site, just came across it while browsing. Was Company Clerk for HQ Co of USA Caribbean Signal Agency Henry Barracks/Fort Allen. Was really surprised when some 15 years later I found out the Navy had taken over. Got this froma fella I worked with at Armco Steel in Houston. Looks like a fine bunch took over from the Army. Nice photos of base, although it was still not complete when I left there in May of 62.

Just got off the phone with wicklund he told me about finding the Ft Allen home page. What a blast from the past. I was at Ft Allen from 67 to 69 and was one of the trilogy along with Don, Larry Lee, and Lars Jaffe who I star in touch with Loren Merriam who I've never found. Those we memorable years and I still visit PR and the Caribee often.

Spent a great tour of duty at Fort Allen from July 77 to Jun 80. Played a lot of golf with Master Chief Gardner. Looking for Maurice Cullen, the character with the yellow voltswagon beattle and lived off base.
