Greetings, shipmates! Myself and several others who served at Fort Allen are considering starting a Fort Allen Sailors Association to (among other things)help re-establish contact with former shipmates from the Fort, as well as the planning of regular reunions. (Note: This is not to demean or take away from anything that's been done so far. We understand that several reunions have already been held and we are very appreciative of those efforts. I was a PN stationed at NAVCOMMSTA Fort Allen from 1975 to 1979. Many of my fondest memories of the Navy were from when I was stationed there.
