Was at FA from 1968-70. Great place to be stationed. Some of my friends at FA were Stan Colton, Charlie O'Connor, Tom Krouse, Andy Marquis, Don Wiklund, Jim Moren (cubemate), Steve Eifert, Ron LaBelle, Sugarbear (forgot his name), Paul Banks, Tom Barton, Steve Martin, Gary Woods, Slim Pickens, Bill Goodman, Rick Sawyer (I was his best man at his wedding on base), and Dick Jenkins. I know there are many more that I have forgotten and for that I apologize. I worked on tape relay and data card machine at the commsta. I also worked at the receiver site in Salinas. I have many fond memories of FA especially the EM club listening to the band Triloge (Steve Eifert and Don Wiklund), playing softball on the base team, and spending our 8o hour break at Gunica Beach laying in the sand.

I was stationed at Fort Allen when it was called Camp Losey, an Army facility then. I was there 1954-1955. I helped with the deactivation and the closing of the Camp in 1955. Love to here from someone that was stationed at Camp Losey. After Camp Losey I was stationed at Rodriquez Army Hospital, San Juan, PR

Hi! I was an ETN2 working the 'scope control/clarinet haven' equipment in the comm center, and worked at the Salinas receiver site, 1971-1972. I remember ET's Jerry Satterfield, Joe Zelinski (xmtrs) Tom Lee, Ken jagger, (rcvrs) the Jap,, and RM Joey (Last Name???) who ran the Norats Board and let me make all the telephone calls i wanted in trade for showing him how my eq worked..
