Well, I've decided I'm going to keep posting here until I start getting some responses from people I would really like to get back in touch with. (Lee Henninger, this does not apply to you. You've responded each time I've done this so I know you're out there.(smile) ) I was stationed at the Fort from around New Year's Eve 1977 to the summer of 1978. I was in Section Two in the Commcenter. I would like to get e-mails from anyone I worked with, regardless of what section you actually worked in. Some specific people I'd like to hear from: Bob Wills, Gerry Buck, Mike Teeter,Dan Deshazo, Ricky "Stu" Williams, John Sweeney, Deb Sweeney, Hayes "Dick" Boles, Roosevelt Fentress, Bill Meyer, Bill Sponaugle, Jerry McCarty, Mary McCarty, Jan Ellis, Tim Brewer, "Mike" Burba... I'd like to hear from any of these people or anyone else who was at the Fort during the same time frame..I'm sure I'll remember you. Feel Free to e-mail me anytime.

I was stationed there from 73 to 75. Worked in the Communication Center and shore patrol. Had some great memories of that place. They had just started fixing up the barricks with air conditioners before I had left! Wish all who served there the best!

I was stationed at Fort Allen from 1970 thru July of 1973 I met alot of great people while stationed there and would like to hear from them. Have some great memories with people like Dusty Rhoades Ed Mayes Bill and Mary Hambleton Lars Jappe Neil Amdahl Lee Hoass Brad Morris John Harkness Steve Eifert just to name a few. I played drums with the band Trilogy there on the base. Hey all i was stationed at Fort Allen from 1970 thru 1973 had a blast. Loved this place so much i got married and stayed. Still here after all these years. Its nice to see many of you still remember PR. If you come down this way give me a holler.....

i use to work at Fort Allen as a Drill Instructor and i see the fotos and let me tell you something is never look as those years at that time is unaxeptable navy has to take this post again ,they put gravel inthe pool all the building are unusable and poor condition .Is terrible sad see how was everything before

Was stationed in PR 1976-1979 at Roosey Rds but, as an Air Force Vet Tech, came to Ft. Allen to hold shot clinics for the pets on base. Also used to come over and spend weekends visiting some of the Corpsman from Roosey who were doing TDY at Ft. Allen. Good times indeed and the whole PR experience was one of those life-altering experiences that I look back on fondly.
