deep Saddness Within Our family to Hear of the loss of such a good Warrior. Many Prayers to his Family, with the knowledge that He is on His Journey in the Land of the Spirits, and will return to Our Earth Mother again to Walk the Red Road. In humble Love, the Stafford Family<><><><>

I served with A troop 3rd Recon Squadron, 7th United States Cavalry in Schweinfurt Germany before I went to Vienam. I did my thesis on a man named Conrad Weiser from Pennsylvania of befriended the Vice Regent Chief Shiklelimy sic. who came from Shamokin Pa. The Chief asked Weiser to go with him to the Capital to help with the problems the Indains were having with the white man. They went togethor . The bothe traveled to the home of the 6 Nations at Onondaga New York wher Two treaties wer signed in the mid 1700s. It is because of him that the 6 nations drew Chief Pontiac away from the French and joined with the 6 Nations along with the white man to beat the French in the French and Indian War. I have served with Indians from other tribes and they are my brothers ....their names I remeber no longer for my memory and body is not well. I learned a lot of stupidity while serving with the 7th Cavalry. I served in in Honduras in 1988 during the Contra Sandinista operations and also the Invasuion of Panama in 1989-1990.
I am 100% disabled and use a wheel chair at times. But I do my history about the Indians of North America and how they were treated by the white man. I know about the trail of tears etc. and the Code Breakers of World War II. So like the Indain after 24 years of service I was used up and pushed to the side to be only a name and number that served. So be it. I received a B.A. in Social Stidies and Political Science and Education, and also a M.Ed. in Education and taught Behavioral Emotional Disabled Middle School Children for 4.5 years till the Dioxin damage from the Agent Orange took over my body. So at 53 I retired.
Yes we will miss our brother who is with all the brothers ans sisters of his Tribe, and will be embraced as the warrior he was.......missed by all hear in the bottom world.
