The loss of anyone is hard enough....PFC Sheldeon Hawk Eagle spirit will forever live in my heart! As as former Family "Readiness" Group Leader for Alpha "HARDROCK" Company, 101st Airborne Division, Ft Campbell, Ky. I have had my share of departed. My family and I are greatful and proud of Sheldon, we did not know him but being a true Lakota warrior means so much to the Indian people. I just wish that our tribe, Lower Brule Sioux Tribe, would've been more involved. We have young warriors in Iraq and they have gone unnoticed when they came home for a visit. I, Misty Ziegler, run the Boys & Girls Club and give them recognition when they come home. We as Lakota people should recognize and do more for our young warriors fighting to protect us now while they are here with us and not wait until they have left us.
