Mixed emotions,
Very saddened to hear of the death of a truly brave warrior, but I feel proud in the fact that A Native American has given the supreme sacrifice in service for his Nations. The Nation of his ancestry and the Nation of The United States of America; of which I am proud to be an American but I am truly sympathetic, with some degree of knowledge, to the sacrifices Brave Eagle and his ancestors have made.
I never had the honor and priviledge to meet Wanbii Chitika in this life but one day, if I continue to be faithful to Jesus, I hope to meet Brave Eagle in Heaven there to be with Our Lord and Savior for evermore.

This is a wonderful tribute to Sheldon. I saw his picture on the casualty site, it was very saddening to see another one of our Native American's leave us in this way. Yet, I am sure he was proud to serve his country and Native people. May the great Spirit Bless his and his family.

My prayers are with the family,relatives and friends who mourn thier loss. I have a brother stationed in El Paso, Ft. Bliss, Tx. serving his 14th year.
