Me again. I love my Intrepid, and want to make it as authentic as possible, while still maintaining legality. I have a push bumper on order, but the "creme de la creme", or, perhaps, "coup de grase," addition will be the prisoner partition. Have you any idea of the lagality of a "cage" in a civilian automobile? I'll send you some pics of my Intrepid as soon as it is finished. Thanks a bunch.

Well, you are missing out! My father is a Sheriff's Officer here in KS, and he was able to find for me, just last Friday, a 2002 Dodge Intrepid Interceptor up in Nebraska. Boy, is it a dream. I got a hell of a deal on it, too. Not to rub it in your face or anything, I am a huge fan of Dodge Intrepids, and of law enforcement vehicles, so, imagine my surprise when I was able to get the best of both worlds. Happy hunting to you, though, and best of luck!

Love the site. Police cars have become an interest after I began driving a Caprice.
Its a '90 White Boxy Caprice, and the 5.7L engine is a powerhouse (beats the pants off most mustangs). A former police cruiser, with the holes from the grading and the push bar. Still has original engine and only has required small fixes. Nice steel frame and bumper, its like a tank.
Once at a light, a new truck rolled into the back bumper (I was stopped at a light infront of him). It put a nice V-shape into his plastic bumper but only took some dust off the Caprice bumper (Didn't even scratch the chrome).

Hi! I suspected there were people out there that enjoyed the same interest in high performance police vehicles. Delighted to find your site.
Just purchased a NEW, no miles, 2003 Crown Vic P71 code from Kansas. It's on the truck now. Probably arrive next week. Comes with a 36 month factory warranty. It's white with grey interior. Has one exterior black spotlight. Cloth seats front and back. Has carpeting and mats and that was why the department that ordered it rejected it and six of them came on the market through North Kansas City Vehicle Sales.
They are a cop owned outfit dealing in emergency vehicles. Their on the net.
This unit has a " power center " for distributing power to various electronics. I was looking for extra equipment when I ran across your site. I intend to install headlight flashers, a scanner and a combo PA, radio rebroadcast, air horn system. Just enough for fun without breaking any laws. I got tired of being yelled at, given the finger and run off the road by the ever increasing number of idiots that are moving into this town. I just want to look out the windshield and see nothing but brake lights for a change.
