My deepest sympathies for your loss, I have been in the military for 22 years and I am currently stationed at Camp Atterbury, IN and I am of Cherokee descent. It is sad that ANY young people should have to die in this war but, I am sure that your daughter served proudly.

I wish I could have gone into harms way instead of these wonderful children, but such is God's that some of us must sacrifice for others----It is an honor to read of such wonderful young people, we must honor them by living long and free----That's why they made such a sacrifice ! Having served with the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army in Europe and Asia, I've had the unique opportunity to stand by the side of many warriors. Though I'm not a fan of women serving in combat, I appreciate the dedication, resolve, and shear strength of the woman warriors serving in our military.
