I really miss you guys on saturdays; I hope you can get back on soon. If nothing ever happens I'm putting in a request for an end of the year podcast though

Just a note to tell you I'm darned glad your website is still up and I'm missing you RIGHT NOW (4:00pm which is when you used to be here.) Also to tell you about a wonderful Canadian flick called BON COP, BAD COP. There was actually a rep theatre in our town that ran it, very rare for a Candian movie. A buddy flick where one cop speaks primarily French (Quebec) and the other English (Ontario). A corpse lands on a sign bordering both provinces, hence these character have to work with each other. Subtitles for the French, but not intrusive at all. Acting is second to none, the comedic plot is full of twists. Too violent for kids, and there's some graphic sex.
That's in. If we ever make another movie in Canada I'll write again.

I so, so, miss the show. It is very painful each Saturday not to in the "movie lounge". Thank you for at least keeping the message board open.

Hey, Meg. I just got onto the board and saw your post. I saw Basic Instinct 2 over the weekend. Two hours, I can't get back. And, I recently read, Sharon Stone is thinking about ponying up her own cash for a third. Perhaps a personal endeavor will make it watchable. Take the time to see the Departed. Man, everything I expected. Another bummer was Man Of The Year. I had HIGH hopes for it so maybe that is why I thought it was such a stinker. But it sure did drag. Some funny parts, mainly the in trailor.

What happened to the show?
I've listened to a few movie talk "podcasts" but this was by far one of the most lively and entertaining shows. Is it that it was an actual radio show?.. that got cancelled.
Please consider doing a podcast, even if it's a once a week thing.
You two are true movie buffs, good team, hope to hear from you soon the world will be better for it... :)

Isn't it a universal truth that we don't appreciate a good thing until it's gone? Alas, it's no less true when applied to the Max and Mike show, of which I've been a fan for years. I have yet to find another movie-themed radio program as consistently entertaining as this one. Sadly, with no word on a foreseeable end to the show's hiatus, all we have left now are the memories, and a month's worth of audio archives.
On that note, may I offer a suggestion: To make available a larger archive of past show podcasts on the site? If new broadcasts aren't in the cards, then this would be the next best thing.
