THE BIG WHITE: The best Robin Williams since GOOD MORNING VIETNAM. Incredible movie that was never releaased to theatres or advertised. FRIENDS WITH MONEY. Stikno, in my humble opinion. A bunch of dumb characters none of which behaves the least like any rational human being, but behave as required to make the "story" "work". Story's dumb and meaningless and it doesn't work.

Just a note that up on SLATE Magazine there's a wonderful review and recommendation for a flick that's better - yes, incredible as it seems, even BETTER than IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. It's called THE SHOP AROUND THE CORNER with JIMMY STEWART. You want to know more it's up right now at SLATE. Great as I am I couldn't do better than ELBERT VENTURA. Frankly, even his name sounds better.

Stuporman Returns: Why?? Why?? This was a godawful (can I say that?) piece of schlock if you're thinking of even watching the DVD DON'T!!!! You'll never get that 45 hours or however overlong this turd was (can I say that?!) Don't even consider buying the DVD and if you get it for Xmas from someone who doesn't read M&M's message board leave it wrapped and get the receipt and trade it for anything.
Where to begin . . ? That kisscurl over his forhead? No, the COINCIDENCE factor in this movie was atrocious. Lex Luthor is getting out of prison just as Stupor falls back to Earth. God, didn't they have writers even get near the studio?
Alright I'm a stickler. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is overlong and I think it's all because those special effects guys just love their creations so much they won't cut anything. Kraken appears way too often. The movie is inventive enough, however, to be worth your trouble, and might actually improve on second viewing.

Just saw Casino and I've decided I will be watching NO MOB MOVIES IN 2007 for a NY's Revolution. God, you've seen one passel of low life mouth breathing twits beating up on one another and wearing really bad clothes and talking dirty, you've seen 'em all. GoodFellas remains the only mob movie you really have to see, or The Godfather, I suppose. When did violence get so "sexy"?
More when I can steal another DVD from the Wal-Mart. Unless they catch me, of course. Ha ha.

I use to listen to you all the time on the Dave Glover show.
I am looking for the name of a movie about 4-7 years ago. Was an indy flick never made theaters. Was about a gave where people were picked and they hunted each other. The last one standing got like a million dollars. It was a game show. Might have had "level" in the name. Can you help me?
