We moved down here from R.I. 9 years ago to complete our careers and retire. Truth is we love the weather here but the food does not compare with Little Rhody. No clamcakes, doughboys, cannolis, zeppole, wandis, cold pizza strips, Del's Lemonade, coffee milk, chowdah and, of course, no Olneyville hot weiners. On our next visit "home" we'll pig out on all the treats that can be had only in R.I. OHHHHH!!!!!

New York System Neon is the in thing in New York - - The wieners are the best in the world and in Plattsburgh we will be having an international airport and we are setting up for a New York System operation in the airport. People from all over the globe will be enjoying a little bit of Rhode Island in upstate New York. With or without the "Take Out" brown bag order.

Best website ever!!! Grew up in Coventry, went to URI and lived in Providence until 1990. This site brings back so many great memories. Need to add the drive-in restaurants we used to hang at...The DQ (dairy queen) and A&W. Also, looking for a recipe for 'whimpy skimpies'. Or, Italian spinach pies. Traveled everywhere since leaving rudiland and can't find food to compare anywhere!!
