I got transplanted to Rodeyelun when I was 15, and left when I was 20 - but I gotta admit, I still can't shake that Little Rhody cultiah. Friggin hot weenies! And the fargin' fish and chips! Sauggies! Man do I miss the Sauggies! My ma used ta send 'em to me, but she's gone now. The Gansset beah I can do without, but I do miss the clambakes, steamers, Crescent Pahk and Rocky Point. Man, I remember when Lupo's was a small bah, the house band was Roomful of Blues, and it faced the Living Room. And served 17 yeah olds. :-) Thanks for the site guys - it's nice to know I wasn't dreaming all that Rhody stuff!

I found this web site by accident and glad I did. It brings back lots of old memories I'm forgetting about. Do any of yous remember the Fontaines Band? Very popular in the 50's and 60's. I was a member of that band for almost 20 years. Miss Rhode Island ( I think is was 1969) was amember of the band also. Maybe we player your prom or wedding. I've been in Florida for 8 years but still call Rhode Island my home. My 4 kids still live there.
