Here is the latest information from SNORE: The hotel situation is not good due to all the Railroad workers and highway workers there doing repairs from the floods, There are three options for motels if you are not bringing a RV, Piochu(sp) Overland Motel 775-962-5895 and Hutchins Motel 775-962-5404 are 20 minutes further North, Alomo is a hour South Alomo Motel 775-725-3371. SNORE has garanteed at least a $500.00 addition to the 5/1600 payback for us. Regan Gubler is going to talk to the BLM about keeping the pre-running open for us that have a long drive and will be arriving later on Friday, should be no problem. All Pre-runners must be street legal (throw a plate on your car). The camping situation is good so there should be no problem with that. Don't forget to register early with SNORE (you can pay your money at the race) so I can do the drawing for the free entry. I will be making calls this next week to get a count of who is going to make this race. If you have any questions please call me at 760-336-0800 or work 760-312-5542.
