i cannot over empasize the necessity to bring all current registrations ( racecar, trailer,tow-vehicle,bikes, quads,or others)in order to ease your passage at the border. I also recomend not bringing any more fuel than your vehicle will carry in its tank.5 gallons extra is allowed.

Here are some simplified directions to the race course. Coming from interstate 8 head south on 111 towards Mexicali/Calexico keep going straight and you will hit the port of entry. At the port if the far right is open take it and make a quick right and then right again (it is a T section). Go straight till you get to a pemex station and turn left on MILITAR sp? go straight (stay on the main road it will turn heading west) and follow the signs that take you to Tecate/Tijuana the course is located at Km38. If you get lost call Alfonso Lacarra at 760-455-8069. It is pretty much a very easy place to get too just stay on the main road when you get to Militar st.

The KARTEK BONUS BUCKS class for the KC hilites midnight special August 6-7 in Jean Nevada will be 5-1600. the guaranteed pay back to the 5-1600s with 10 entry's for the midnight will be $3,000 for 1st and $1,000 for 2nd. with 20 entry's the guaranteed money jumps to $4,000 for 1st and $1,600 for 2nd. the total entry fee for 5-1600 is $340. this will be the 34th annual KC hilites midnight special and the 1st time in 12 years that the race will start in Jean NV. for more info go to snoreracing.net

They sometimes ask for paperwork on trailors. If you are bringing an enclosed trailor across, have an inventory sheet availible. A lot of times when crossing at the main port in Calexico if you stay in the far left lane (nothing to declare) they will just waive you through, dont go out of your way to get there attention and most of the time it is clear sailing. We have about 12 cars signed up for the coalition for this race so far and that does not include any of the mex cars so we should have a pretty good turn out of 20 plus cars.
