Just listened to your first album after far too many years than we care to remember! It bought back great memories of being 17 and you playing the Heartline guitar solo over our heads at the Birmingham Odeon.
We hope that one day we'll catch you live again.

Hey Robin,
Initial listen - Great stuff! Great driving beats on the first couple of cuts. I REALLY love the bluesy riffs on the other cuts as well. This caught me off guard - good stuff. I think people are going to be surprised. I'm hearing some Beatles influences as well on those last few cuts. Am I crazy? lol. Killer stuff!

P.S. I like the new arrangements on Pete's songs - Crazy and Hand to Hold. Comparing Pete's "dirty" versions and the "clean" sounding DC versions the songs come across as having 2 separate original versions. Ha! That's cool. Another thing I like is that it sounds like the project really stands alone from anything else Pete has done. I'm going to make a note of that in the intro for the interview because I know that people are immediately going to want to make comparisons to Pete's other projects and I'll want to get that addressed right off the bat. Oh yeah...the vocals aren't too shabby either! Ha! Seriously though, love the singing as well.
Oh yeah! Love the guitars. You definitely have some good soloing chops and the ability to put it into the context of a song, without "noodling". That last clip, which comes in during the last 10 seconds. Whoa..lol..that clip has a very Spanish/Fiesta intro feeling to it - that's the only clip I didn't care for. Not that it's bad - it just doesn't seem like it fits in with all the other material. I would have to hear the rest of the song though before I passed judgment on it fitting in with the other tunes. On that clip, I'm hearing that Spanish feel, which leads into a funk kind of groove? Other than that though, the rest of the clips are fantastic. The solos will be fantastic live and they even sound like they could stand alone on an instrumental album. There's my quick review!
All the Best!
Chuck

Robin,
i've been a fan since i 1st heard "dangerous music" back in '85. Have been aquiring ur dics through e-bay, most recent being "notorious". Thanx 4 still being around, and even by 2days standards, knocking out some of the best sounds around.
