We just watched the story on E! and I remembered hearing about Brian 2 years ago right after his disappearance. My husband has the same Pearl Jam tattoo that Brian has, and that's what caught my attention. We went to a Pearl Jam concert in the summer of '06 in Cincinnati and Eddie Vedder talked about Brian and asked for help in finding him. Our prayers & thoughts are with the Shaffer family. We hope Brian is found and returns home safely! God Bless.

I have seen part of Brians story when the show "spring break nightmareas" first aired and i finally got to see the whole story today on the same show. I was very drawn to the fact that there doesnt seem like there is much evidence. It just seems like there is a huge part of the story missing and that is just heartbreakintg to know that something so little could help find him. I know he will be in my thought always now.
My heart goes out to his family, friends, and girlfriend. My family and I just lost someone we love soo dearly. She was drugged by her boyfriend and it just seems like it gets harder and harder to deal with. My prayers will be with Brian and his family.

We too just watched the show on E and were sad to hear about Brian. We actually live only one hour north of Columbus so I thought I would check to see if there was something online. I am glad to see so much info and will keep checking for updates. We hope and pray you find out information soon. We have four children and will definitely think twice before allowing them to go on spring break. Thank you for sharing your story.

You are in my prayers but i have a question. Who were those girls he was talking to before his disapperance? Did he know them or did he just meet them and was chatting them up? How could they know know anything? Did they say he talked to them and just left? Didnt they see which way he went? They should be able to provide more info.

I was scanning the remote and found an etv program about bad spring break trips... this caught my eye. I am so sorry for the loss that you feel at the moment. I will pray for you and yours and continue to do so. Please know that life will go on. God speed.
