Hi Troopers, I am letting you all know that Ronnie and I are in Benton Harbor, MI for over a week now. His job will last for three more weeks here at the DC Cook’s Nuclear Power Plant. I have had difficulty with getting on line at the hotel to get email. In our travel from Louisiana, my home server company turned off my internet and did away with my email address, OPPS, their BAD. After several calls and the lost of my father’s Constabulary web page, we finally got it all straight. I now have my email address back and working and I am able to get on line 50 percent of the time here at the hotel before I get booted. LOL. I explained to my home internet company how important my father’s web page was, and that I put in 10 years of work on it, and that it links to the US Constabulary Official Home page and also has a link from the Smithsonian Museum to the Constabulary Web Site as well and that they had to retrieve that web page. They said that it was something that they don’t usually ever do, but being the case was so important to history, they did successfully retrieve my father’s web page. I hope to be seeing you all in email again. Please, everyone who has sent email and it bounced back to you within the last two weeks, please send again…….. God Bless You, your web editor-Irene.

I served with the 74th FA. BN. HQ Btry., From 1948 to 1952 in Landshut Germany Pinder Kaserne. I have fond memories of the Constabulary, Border Patrol, Maneuvers, Training, and Hitlers Yatch. Enjoying Landshut and meeting Vic Damone and, hanging out with him and two buddies he went to high school with. Traveling to Paris, London, Italy, Findland, French Riviera, and Garmisch on furlough. Playing basketball for the 74th in a lot of cities in the U.S. Zone including Berlin. Meeting so many great friends and frauliens (Ha Ha!). I am a new member of the Association in Outpost #5. Unfortunately I only found out about the Assocation in November 08. I would like to hear from anyone who was in the outfit during that time period. Especially Marino, Ferracane, Ziggy, Stober, Gallo, Napier, Orlando, DiFranco, Badillo, Caccamo, Nahabedian, Horton, Capparalli, Carnevale, Tucker, Jhons, Lawit, Frazier, Goldstein, Reyer, Roberts, Maury, Oldfield, McElwee, Bianchi, Bell, Adams, Chavez, Glavens, Myhrs, Bule, Cernosek, Agollia, Szerevisits, and anyone else I proudly served with.
